ANDREW BURT
Andrew has 17 years’ experience driving value creation in private equity situations. During this time he has worked all sides of the PE model: as an investor, operating partner, member of a management team and finally as a PE backed entrepreneur. Andrew co-founded Transform Exploration, an energy company focused on Asian LNG projects, with funding from Lime Rock Partners and the World Bank in 2012. Prior to this, he was an Operating Partner in Oaktree Capital’s European private equity business where he worked across a number of sectors including consumer products. Andrew’s experience in operational roles commenced with the turn-around and subsequent sale of Brakes, the leading European foodservice distributor, on behalf of Clayton, Dubilier and Rice. In this role he ran business units and led major transformation, acquisition and integration projects that generated substantial Group EBITDA improvements. Before transitioning to operating roles, Andrew was an investor with mid-market private equity firm, Silverfleet Capital. In his early career in Australia, he gained experience in investment banking and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Andrew received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with First Class Honours majoring in Finance from the University of Western Australia and an M.B.A. from INSEAD. |
